Former Kaduna governor Nasir El-Rufai has taken a swipe at President Bola Tinubu, claiming Nigeria is worse off under his leadership. In a DW Hausa interview, El-Rufai accused the APC of abandoning justice and merit, alleging that appointments are now based on personal and ethnic ties.
He recently dumped the APC for the SDP, citing a loss of direction in the ruling party. But the Presidency and APC fired back, calling his move selfish and desperate.
The SDP Youth Wing also rejected his entry, warning him not to hijack the party.
