Former Kaduna governor Nasir El-Rufai has criticized his successor, Governor Uba Sani, over comments defending President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
In a TVC interview, Sani dismissed critics of Tinubu, saying they failed to perform better when in office. Responding in a post on X, El-Rufai accused Sani of sycophancy, alleging that Kaduna received over N150 billion in selective federal interventions.
“The people of Kaduna State will judge at the right time,” El-Rufai wrote.
Despite their apparent rift, Sani insists their relationship remains cordial, saying his focus is on moving Kaduna forward.
