The EFCC has arrested 133 suspects linked to a Ponzi scheme known as Q University (Q-Net) in Gwagwalada, Abuja.
The academy allegedly lured young Nigerians with promises of massive wealth through a recruitment-based scheme. EFCC spokesperson Dele Oyewale said recruits were enrolled in a so-called “New Generation Billionaires” training, where they were made to believe they could become billionaires.
The operation, carried out with the Nigerian Army’s 176 Guards Battalion, led to the seizure of phones, computers, and other gadgets. The suspects will face prosecution after investigations.
