Popular businessman Emeka Okonkwo, known as E-Money, has been arrested by the EFCC for allegedly abusing the naira and defacing foreign currency.
He was reportedly picked up Monday night at his Omole residence in Lagos after a video surfaced showing him spraying dollars at a social event.
Sources say E-Money is being flown to Abuja for further questioning, and may be charged after investigations.
The EFCC is yet to officially confirm the arrest. E-Money joins a list of celebrities, including Bobrisky, Murja Kunya, and Cubana Chief Priest, earlier arrested for similar offences.
