The Edo State Vehicle Recovery Committee has retrieved 30 government-owned vehicles from officials of the previous administration, led by former Governor Godwin Obaseki.
The committee’s chairman, Kelly Okungbowa, disclosed this in a statement released by Fred Itua, Chief Press Secretary to Governor Monday Okpebholo. He revealed that the committee is prepared to recover vehicles nationwide and has already reclaimed SUVs, Hilux vans, and buses, including some containing campaign materials.
Okungbowa commended whistleblowers for their assistance and urged the public to provide further information to support ongoing recoveries before the two-week deadline.
