DELTA KILLINGS: ARMY DECLARES 8 PEOPLE WANTED.

The Nigerian defence headquarters have declared some persons “wanted” in connection with the recent killings of officers and men of the force in Okuama community of Delta state.

The Defence headquarters posted the names and pictures of 7 men and 1 woman, namely:

1. Akevwru Daniel Omotegbono (aka Amagbem)

2. Professor Ekpekpo Arthur

3. Andaowei Dennis Bakriri

4. Igoli Ebi

5. Akata Malawa David

6. Sinclair Oliki

7. Clement Ikolo Oghenerukevwe

8. Reuben Baru.

Recall that 17 personnel of the Nigerian army were reportedly attacked and killed on March 14th, 2024 in Okuoma, Delta state. The army has since vowed to bring all those involved to justice.

Speaking at their funeral ceremony on Wednesday, March 27th, the president of Nigeria and commander in chief of the armed forces, Bola Ahmed Tinubu committed to getting justice for the fallen soldiers, saying “I want to make it clear, once more, that those who committed this heinous crime will not go unpunished. We will find them and our departed heroes will get justice.”
