Dangote Refinery Cuts Petrol Price to N860/Litre in Lagos

Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a reduction in the ex-depot price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), also known as petrol, from N890 to N825 per litre, effective February 27, 2025.

Under the new pricing structure, petrol will be sold at N860 per litre at MRS filling stations in Lagos, while other regions will have slight variations. The move aims to provide relief ahead of Ramadan and support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s economic recovery plans.

This marks Dangote’s second petrol price cut in February, following an earlier N60 reduction, and continues a trend of price adjustments seen in December 2024. The refinery reassured the public of steady fuel supply and urged marketers to ensure Nigerians benefit from the reduction.
