Court to Rule on EFCC’s Cross-Examination Request in Yahaya Bello Case

A Federal High Court in Abuja will rule on June 26 whether the EFCC can cross-examine its own witness in the money laundering case against former Kogi Governor Yahaya Bello.

The EFCC wants to question Nicholas Ojehomon, an auditor at the American International School, after the defence cross-examined him. Defence lawyer Joseph Daudu (SAN) opposed the move, stating it should only occur under specific circumstances.

Justice Emeka Nwite adjourned the matter to June 26, 27, and July 4 and 5 for ruling and further trial.
