Chelsea have left out Raheem Sterling, Joao Felix, Axel Disasi, and Ben Chilwell from their squad for the FIFA Club World Cup, starting June 15 in the U.S.
The four players, who cost Chelsea a total of £179 million, won’t feature in the tournament after spending last season on loan at other clubs.
Sterling played 13 games for Arsenal, scoring once. Felix had a short spell at AC Milan, scoring seven goals. Disasi joined Aston Villa after 17 games with Chelsea, while Chilwell made only one appearance before moving to Crystal Palace.
Chelsea are expected to go with players who are fully fit and in form.
