Breaking: NNPC Pegs Dangote Petrol at 950.22 Naira Per Litre.

The Back and forth between the Management of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) and Dangote Group over the pump price of Petrol does not appear to be abating anytime soon as the nation’s oil dealer released a counter statement on Monday morning, aiming to further clarify the price of petrol it lifted from Dangote refineries.

In a statement posted to social media and signed by NNPCL’s spokesman, Olufemi Soneye, the oil firm said it “can confirm that it is paying Dangote Refinery in USD for September 2024 PMS offtake, as Naira transactions will only commence on October 1st, 2024,” and listed ₦950.22 as the estimated pump price of petrol in Lagos.
