Dry season farmers in Bauchi State have expressed optimism that the newly launched rice irrigation initiative, a collaboration between the federal and state governments with NASENI, will significantly address food insecurity in Nigeria.

Many farmers, who previously viewed farm mechanization as an unattainable dream, now see it as a reality within their reach.
