Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar met with top PDP leaders in Abuja to strategise on forming a coalition ahead of the 2027 elections.
Among those present were former Senate President David Mark, ex-governors Sule Lamido, Aminu Tambuwal, Liyel Imoke, Babangida Aliyu, Sam Egwu, and former PDP chairman Uche Secondus.
Sources say the meeting focused on plans to unite opposition forces to challenge President Tinubu if he runs again. Atiku has maintained that a merger is the only way to remove the APC from power.
