Saudi authorities have reportedly arrested two women believed to be the wife and mother of notorious bandit kingpin, Ado Aliero.
Sources say the women were picked up in Medina, where they had allegedly been living under false identities. Their arrest is linked to an intelligence-led operation targeting those connected to armed groups in Nigeria.
Aliero, wanted for deadly attacks and kidnappings in the Northwest, remains one of Nigeria’s most wanted men. Security agencies in Nigeria are said to be working with Saudi counterparts as investigations continue.
