Senate President Godswill Akpabio says lawmakers weren’t elected to clash with the Executive but to collaborate for Nigeria’s progress.
He said this in a documentary marking President Tinubu’s two years in office, stressing that unity between the arms of government is key to development.
Akpabio also revealed plans to push laws that support local manufacturing and reduce imports, adding that the Assembly is committed to pro-people reforms, not rubber-stamping.
