9Mobile has dismissed rumours claiming it is shutting down operations in Nigeria, calling them false and misleading.
In a statement on Friday, the telecom company reassured customers that its services remain fully operational and compliant with industry regulations.
The company acknowledged recent challenges with Mobile Number Portability (MNP) but clarified that it has not restricted customers from switching networks. While some technical issues caused temporary delays, 9Mobile stated that these have largely been resolved.
“As a proudly Nigerian brand, we remain committed to improving our infrastructure and service quality,” the statement added.
