The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) says its air operations in the North-East have killed 592 terrorists and destroyed 372 of their assets in the last eight months.
Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Bala Abubakar, disclosed this in Maiduguri, Borno State, on Tuesday during a visit to Governor Babagana Zulum.
According to NAF spokesman, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, the air component of Operation Hadin Kai carried out 798 combat sorties, clocking over 1,500 flight hours. These operations, he said, targeted and destroyed 206 vehicles and 166 logistics hubs used by terrorists, significantly disrupting their mobility and supply chains.
Governor Zulum commended the Air Force for its continued support in weakening terrorist groups and safeguarding communities across the region.
