President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Wednesday presented a N47.96 trillion 2025 Appropriation Bill to the joint session of the National Assembly, prioritizing defence, security, and infrastructure.
Defence and security received the highest allocation of N4.91 trillion, followed closely by infrastructure at N4.06 trillion. Education was allocated N3.52 trillion, while the health sector got N2.48 trillion.
Tinubu described the proposal as a “Budget of Restoration: Securing Peace, Rebuilding Prosperity,” emphasizing the need to strengthen key sectors for national development.
