180 Stranded Nigerians Repatriated from Niger

The Federal Government has repatriated 180 Nigerians stranded in Niamey, Niger Republic as part of its ongoing voluntary return initiative.

The returnees arrived at Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport on February 26, 2025, and were received by the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants, and Internally Displaced Persons (NCFRMI).

This marks the fourth batch of repatriations since 2024, bringing the total to 1,272 returnees. Officials assured they would be included in government empowerment programs under the Renewed Hope Agenda to support their reintegration.
