John Tinniswood, recognized as the world’s oldest man, has passed away at the age of 112 in a care home in Southport, northwest England, according to Guinness World Records.
Born on August 26, 1912, in Liverpool, Tinniswood held the title of the world’s oldest man since April 2024, following the death of 114-year-old Venezuelan Juan Vicente Pérez.
His family revealed he spent his final day surrounded by music and love, expressing gratitude to those who cared for him. The oldest living woman, Japan’s Tomiko Itooka, is currently 116 years old.
