Aliyu Audu, Special Assistant on Public Affairs to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has tendered his resignation.
The resignation was communicated in a letter dated June 8, 2025, addressed to the President through the Chief of Staff.
Audu expressed gratitude to the President for the opportunity to serve, as well as to the former Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, who recommended him for the position.
He wrote: “It has been an honour to contribute to the public communication efforts of this administration.
“Please accept the assurances of my highest esteem and continued prayers for the success of your leadership and the progress of our beloved nation.”
Audu was appointed on October 9, 2023, and his resignation takes effect immediately, according to his letter.
