The House of Representatives Ad-hoc Committee on Plateau Security has invited Governor Caleb Mutfwang, ex-governors Simon Lalong, Jonah Jang, Joshua Dariye, and other key stakeholders to a security summit aimed at ending killings in the state.
Chairman of the committee, Dr. Wale Hammed, said the summit will focus on finding lasting solutions to the violence in Bokkos, Bassa, Mangu and other areas.
He urged all invited parties—including security agencies, religious and traditional leaders, and civil society groups—to attend and submit recommendations.
