The Nigerian Air Force (NAF), under “Operation Hadarin Daji,” has neutralized several terrorists and destroyed a notorious kingpin’s hideout in Palele, Shiroro LGA, Niger State.

NAF spokesperson, Air Commodore Olusola Akinboyewa, confirmed in a statement that the Nov. 16 airstrike targeted Mallam Saleh, a Dogo Gide ally, whose reign of terror involved abductions and extortion in Shiroro.

The operation, informed by detailed intelligence, destroyed Saleh’s residence, an arms depot, and neutralized armed motorbike-riding terrorists. Secondary explosions confirmed a successful strike.

Akinboyewa emphasized the operation is part of a broader NAF strategy to dismantle terrorist logistics and restore peace in affected communities. The Air Force pledged continued collaboration with ground forces to sustain its dominance in counter-terrorism efforts.
