The Kaduna State Government will begin free bus rides for civil servants, students, retirees, and security personnel from Monday, July 7, 2025.
The scheme will run for six months, after which the public will enjoy a 60% fare subsidy.
KADSTRA DG, Engr. Inuwa Ibrahim, said students must be in uniform, while workers need staff ID and NIN. He urged passengers to maintain order and avoid rushing.
The move follows President Tinubu’s commissioning of 100 CNG buses during his June visit.
