The FCCPC has launched an investigation into the rising prices of diabetes and blood pressure medications in Nigeria.

FCCPC’s Executive Vice Chairman, Tunji Bello, said the probe aims to ensure affordability and protect consumers from exploitation. The commission has received multiple complaints about price disparities, worsening access to essential drugs.

Industry experts blame the surge on import reliance, forex issues, and infrastructure challenges. FCCPC assured Nigerians it will work with stakeholders to address the problem.
