Police in Ekiti have confirmed the death of a 15-year-old boy who was mistakenly shot by his father during a farm visit in Iye-Ekiti.
The father, trying to scare off monkeys from his farm, reportedly fired at movement in a tree—only to discover he had shot his own son.
Police say the man is in custody and investigations are ongoing.
