Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a reduction in the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) to N899.50 per litre, offering relief to Nigerians ahead of the festive season.
The statement, issued Thursday morning by Anthony Chiejina, Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer, highlighted that the price cut follows a previous reduction to N970 per litre in late November. As part of the holiday offer, customers can also purchase an additional litre of fuel on credit for every litre bought on a cash basis, supported by select banks.
Chiejina emphasized the refinery’s commitment to providing high-quality, environmentally friendly products and ending Nigeria’s reliance on substandard imported fuel. With a 650,000 barrels per day capacity, the Dangote Refinery is positioned to meet Nigeria’s petroleum needs and supply surplus to international markets.
The company expressed gratitude for Nigerians’ support and pledged continued efforts to ease transport costs during the holiday period.
