The Nigeria Police Force has begun disciplinary proceedings against 151 senior officers accused of misconduct.
The officers, from the rank of ASP and above, are appearing before the Force Disciplinary Committee over alleged ethical violations and abuse of office.
Police spokesman, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, said the panel will conclude its work in 10 days and forward recommendations to the Police Service Commission.
He added that the IGP, Kayode Egbetokun, remains committed to professionalism and will not tolerate indiscipline within the Force.
