In preparation for the end-of-year festivities, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has deployed its entire workforce, including Special Marshals, to highways across the country to ensure smooth and safe travel for commuters.
The initiative aims to tackle traffic congestion and reduce road crashes, injuries, and fatalities during the busy holiday period.
In a statement by the Corps Public Education Officer, Olusegun Ogungbemide, FRSC highlighted that its 2024 Operation Zero Tolerance began on December 15, 2024, and will run until January 15, 2025. The Corps assured that resources and operational tools have been effectively distributed nationwide to meet its safety targets.
