Russian forces have claimed to have killed more than 290 Ukrainian soldiers in a 24-hour period along the border areas of the Kursk region.
In a statement released on Wednesday, Russia’s Ministry of Defence confirmed the destruction of a tank, an armoured personnel carrier, and four armoured combat vehicles. The losses also included four vehicles and three artillery pieces, bringing the total Ukrainian military casualties in the Kursk area to over 290 troops.
The ministry further stated that since the conflict began, Ukraine’s losses in the Kursk direction have reached approximately 50,120 soldiers, 294 tanks, and 217 infantry fighting vehicles.
