Trump said Ukraine is “getting hit very hard” and needs defensive support. The pledge came days after Washington paused some aid shipments, causing concern in Kyiv.
The Kremlin warned the move would only prolong the war. Meanwhile, Russia claimed fresh gains in Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk region, as intense battles continue.
President Zelensky urged allies to fulfill their promises, saying air defence remains Ukraine’s top priority.
