President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening Nigeria’s food security and economy through technology and innovation.
At a meeting with Nigerians in Brazil, Tinubu said his visit focused on deepening ties and learning from Brazil’s progress in agriculture and technology.
“We must place Nigeria at the forefront of Africa’s progress, anchored on technology, food sovereignty, and the courage to shape our own future,” he said.
He acknowledged current reforms as “bitter medicine” for long-term recovery and urged Nigerians abroad to support the process.
Before leaving Brasília for Abuja, Tinubu signed five agreements with Brazil in agriculture, aviation, technology, and foreign affairs.
