The Delta State College of Nursing Sciences, Agbor, has queried one of its students, Osata Edobor, over what it described as a “malicious act” after she made a video of a song welcoming Senator Oluremi Tinubu and posted it on her TikTok page.
The query letter, dated March 27, 2025, and signed by the provost of the school, Mrs. Evbodoghe Rita Ogonne, stated that the act of unauthorized recording and posting was a punishable offense.
“You are therefore requested to explain in writing, in triplicate, within 24 hours of receiving this letter, why disciplinary action should not be taken against you for this act,” Ogonne wrote.
First Lady Oluremi Tinubu was on an official visit to the school as part of her Renewed Hope Initiative Health Programme, which includes the distribution of 10,000 professional kits to midwives across each geopolitical zone in Nigeria.
