Vice President Kashim Shettima is currently chairing the National Economic Council (NEC) meeting at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The council, made up of governors and chaired by the Vice President, is expected to discuss key national issues, including rising insecurity in states like Plateau, Benue, Zamfara, and Kwara.
Today’s meeting follows the last session in February, where the Nutrition 774 Initiative was launched to address malnutrition nationwide.
In attendance are Governors from Kwara, Delta, Benue, Cross River, Kaduna, Abia, and the Sole Administrator of Rivers State, among others.
