Police in Niger State have arrested a man, Surajo, for allegedly attacking his neighbour’s wife, Deborah Andrew, while she was breastfeeding her baby in Tungan Goro, Minna.
The victim said Surajo, who complained about the baby’s crying, broke into her room, sat on her, strangled her, and threw the baby to the floor. Both were hospitalised but later discharged.
Police confirmed the arrest and said investigation is ongoing.
