A 32-year-old man, Henry Duru, was arraigned before an Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court in Ibadan on Wednesday for allegedly stealing phones inside a church.
The police accused Duru of stealing three phones and a power bank from worshippers at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Jesus Tower, Ibadan, around 3:45 a.m. on March 17.
He pleaded not guilty to the charges. The magistrate, Olaolu Olanipekun, granted him bail at N200,000 with one surety and adjourned the case to March 26.
