The political landscape in Kano is shifting dramatically following Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s defection to the ruling APC, adopting “Kano First” as his transformation agenda.
Opposition critics, however, have dismissed the initiative as little more than a slogan aimed at securing reelection.
The State Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, Ibrahim Wayya, told Trust TV that the agenda seeks to build a stable and united Kano, regardless of political differences.
