Three brothers were killed and over 150 cattle rustled in an attack on Nukur village in Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State.
The state chairman of Miyetti Allah, Ibrahim Yusuf Babayo, said the victims were herders attacked while grazing. Their bodies were recovered the next day with help from Operation Safe Haven. He also confirmed that 23 of the cattle were killed.
Babayo accused Berom youths of carrying out the attack, but the Berom Youths Moulder-Association denied the allegation, urging security agencies to investigate and prevent further violence.
Operation Safe Haven had not issued a statement as of the time of filing this report.
