Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola and his wife, Cristina Serra, have officially separated after three decades together.
Reports from Spain describe the separation as “cordial, stable, and friendly.” Sources indicate that the couple made the decision to part ways in December, with only close friends and family initially aware of the development. Those in their inner circle have reportedly been asked to maintain discretion about the situation.
Serra, who runs a fashion business in Barcelona, had previously left Manchester in 2019 with one of their children to focus on her company. Despite maintaining communication, Serra split her time between Barcelona and London while Guardiola remained in Manchester.
The couple, who first met in 1994 when Guardiola was 23 and Serra 20, tied the knot in 2014 after a long-standing relationship. They share three children: Maria, 24; Marius, 22; and Valentina, 17.
Both parties are said to remain on amicable terms as they navigate this new phase of their lives.
