Daniel Bwala has confirmed his new role in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
In a post on his verified X account, Bwala expressed gratitude for the appointment, stating it is an honour to serve under Tinubu’s “courageous leadership.”
The presidential spokesman, Bayo Onanuga, announced the appointment in a press release on Thursday, highlighting Bwala’s credentials as a lawyer and respected public affairs analyst.
Bwala will serve as Special Adviser on Media and Public Communication (State House).
Bwala, a former spokesman for PDP’s Atiku Abubakar during the 2023 elections, was previously critical of Tinubu’s presidential bid.
In a congratulatory message, former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, praised Bwala’s appointment, expressing confidence in his abilities and offering prayers for his success in the role.
