FIFA will distribute over $1 billion in revenue to clubs participating in the 2025 Club World Cup, as the European Club Association nears a deal for top teams like Chelsea and Manchester City.
The 32 clubs, including 12 from Europe, will share the prize pool, partly funded by a $1 billion global TV rights deal with DAZN. The tournament will run from June 14 to July 13 in the U.S.
Talks are ongoing to introduce solidarity payments for non-participating clubs, with similar plans for teams in Africa, Asia, and the Americas.
