The increase in tariff has been dued since 2022, folowing the population expansion in Nigeria, he noted that the issue of Band A or B is not to descriminate against anybody. He said since the industry needed to expand their network, they also need more money.
The chairman said although the committee has not fully agreed with the stakeholders, however they want to get more input and explore the possibility of whether gas can be sold in Naira which is currently sold in dollars.
