Former Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-Rufai, says he would still criticize the APC even if he were part of President Bola Tinubu’s government.
Speaking at a national conference in Abuja, El-Rufai said the party had abandoned its core values.
“I no longer recognize the APC. No caucus, no NEC meetings—it’s either a one-man show or a zero-man show,” he said.
Reacting, presidential aide Daniel Bwala questioned whether El-Rufai would have taken the same stance if he were in the cabinet.
In response, El-Rufai stated that he had never sought a position in Tinubu’s government and would have voiced his concerns regardless.
