The EFCC has arrested 120 suspected internet fraudsters in Lagos.
In a statement on Monday, the anti-graft agency said its Lagos Zonal Directorate 1 carried out the operation following credible intelligence.
The suspects — 95 men and 25 women — were picked up from different locations across the state. Items recovered include 26 luxury cars, smartphones, laptops, jewellery, and documents linked to online fraud.
The EFCC said the suspects are under investigation and will be charged in court soon.
Meanwhile, the Lagos Police Command has detained an officer caught on video assaulting an Uber driver. The officer is now in custody and will face disciplinary action.
