A Federal High Court in Lagos has ordered the remand of three Lagos State House of Assembly workers for allegedly assaulting DSS operatives.
Justice Daniel Osiagor ruled that Ibrahim Olanrewaju, Adetu Adekunle, and Fatimoh Adetola remain in DSS custody until their arraignment on Wednesday.
The incident occurred last Monday when DSS operatives sealed off Speaker Mojisola Meranda’s office, sparking a confrontation with Assembly workers.
The DSS has now charged the trio with assaulting its officials while on duty.
