Armed bandits attacked the Chikakore area of Kubwa in Abuja, abducting a father, mother, and their son, along with two others. The kidnappers, around 30 in number and armed with AK-47s, raided the home of Adefija Micheal Akinropo at midnight on Monday.
Afterwards, they moved to a nearby poultry farm, where they kidnapped another man and injured his wife. The police visited the scene, but the kidnappers have yet to contact the victims’ families.
The FCT Police Public Relations Officer, Josephine Adeh, was unavailable for comment at the time of reporting.
