Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has said the 2027 elections will not follow the usual political playbook, describing them as a “turning point” for the country.
Speaking in Abuja during a meeting with Kannywood stakeholders, digital media influencers, and northern opinion leaders, Atiku said Nigerians are demanding change—and the coalition he is part of aims to deliver it.
“This is not business as usual,” he said. “The coalition is a deliberate effort to rescue Nigeria in line with the people’s expectations.”
He urged his guests to continue enlightening the public and mobilising support, stressing that the opposition is ready to take on the country’s worsening insecurity and economic hardship.
