The President of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Prof. Chris Piwuna, says the Federal Government has not implemented any of the agreements reached with the union.
Speaking in an interview with Trust TV, Piwuna said the union had repeatedly engaged the government, but issues such as funding, salaries, and university autonomy remain unresolved.
He linked poor working conditions to the mass exit of lecturers and doctors, warning that unless government takes action, instability in the university system will continue.
Piwuna also urged traditional rulers, parents, civil society, and the media to press for reforms in the education sector.
