Unite warring factions in PDP, forum tells NWC

From Abubakar Sadiq Mohd, Zaria

The National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has been urged to unite the warring factions in the party and prepare it for victory in the 2023 general election.

The chairman, PDP Unity Forum in Zaria, Kaduna State, Barr Yusuf Sambo, made the appeal while speaking with Daily Trust yesterday.

He said the party is in disarray with many court cases and factions threatening its chances of winning future elections.

“This is the right time to start putting the house in order and begin to strategise on how to unite warring factions for the overall victory of the party,” he said.

Sambo challenged all stakeholders to start evolving political strategies towards mending fences among party loyalists to avoid defections.
