NYCN holds security summit Dec 2

The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) will on December 2 hold a National Youth Summit in Abuja.

The summit is expected to explore new strategies to assist the federal government to effectively tackle the security challenges in the country.

Malam Idris Ojoko, chairman of NYCN Forum of 36 states and Federal Capital Territory, in a statement yesterday, said the summit would also feature the launching of a book, ‘It’s Youth O’clock in Nigeria’.

According to him, the youth, who are the most important segment of every nation, have critical role to play in addressing the current security challenges.

He urged Nigerian youths to support policies and programmes of the present administration and cooperate with security agencies to rid the nation of insecurity. (NAN)
