MFM FC have secured their 11th win of the ongoing Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season following yesterday’s 2-1 victory over Kano Pillars at the Agege Township stadium.
The home side went in front with a 17th-minute goal scored by Tosin Olubolola against the run of play.
MFM doubled their lead in the 64th minute through Adeyinka Najeem before Rabiu Ali pulled a goal back from the penalty spot in the 89th minute.
In the same vein, Enugu Rangers won the ‘Oriental derby’ in Enugu as they defeated Abia Warriors 2-1 to keep their hopes of a continental ticket alive.
